What I collect

When you sign up, I collect your email address and, if you give it, your first name. If you sign up on a sheet at one of my talks, I enter what you wrote.

Why I collect it

To send you what you signed up for: my newsletter, the history behind my novels, free stories, and news about my books and talks. That's it.

Who sees it

I use Kit to keep my email list and send my emails. Kit stores your information on my behalf. Some sign-ups come through quizzes run by Interact, which passes your email straight to Kit.

Like most email services, Kit records whether an email was opened and which links were clicked. I use that to learn what readers enjoy.

What I will never do

I will never sell, rent, or trade your email address. I don't share it with anyone except the services I use to send you email.

Unsubscribe any time

Every email I send has an unsubscribe link at the bottom. One click and you're off the list. You can also email me and I'll remove you and delete your information.
